Y Combinator Application Session

Are you a company applying for Y Combinator or know the one that should? We're helping give them the finishing touches to their application, setting them up for success.
YC Application School

Startups helped by the famous US accelerator Y Combinator are more successful than the average startup. That’s why we want to increase – in collaboration with Dutch Y Combinator alumni – the number of applications and acceptances for the very best early-stage startups in the Netherlands.

We gathered a strong group of YC Alumni & expert coaches to disclose the secret sauce of a successful Y Combinator application with insights into the selection process. They will tell you the Do's & Dont's and give you valuable feedback to add that final touch to your application.

Who's it for?

Since 2005, Y Combinator has funded over 2,000 startups, a community of over 4,000 founders. Their companies have a combined valuation of over $100B.

This opportunity is available for 12 Dutch early-stage startups serious about applying to YC or who are already in the process of putting together their application. In order to give direct support and one-on-one feedback sessions, we have to limit participants to a curated group.

Y Combinator's goal is to get you through the first phase. This usually means: get you to the point where you’ve built something impressive enough to raise money on a larger scale. This means they/we are looking for organisations mostly pre-Series A gaining initial traction with their product. Of course, this isn't a strict requirement and we urge those who feel it be relevant to apply for the session.

They talk about it best

"I doubt that Stripe would have worked without YC. It's that simple. Acquiring early customers, figuring out who to hire, closing deals with banks, raising money -- YC's partners were closely involved and crucially helpful."

Patrick Collison, Founder, Stripe (YC S09)
